We decided to give it a try yesterday and all 3 aspects of our visit, food, atmosphere and service were perfect. Friendly staff, clean dining room, and great food served super quickly. “ Stopped into Golden Chick for the first time for dinner. They had just finished a rush and were busy cooking up fresh food, so there was a bit of a wait. As we started to feel a little irritated, Monique, the general manager, stepped in and completely turned the experience around. She greeted us with a warm smile, incredible professionalism, and brought over a generous sample of their delicious chicken to tide us over while we waited. Her kindness and attention to customer satisfaction were absolutely top-notch. Monique, thank you for reminding Lake Charles that great service and professionalism still exist! Golden Chick has earned our loyalty, and we can’t wait to come back! ”

“ I remember seeing this establishment being built the last time I came to visit my fiance. A native of Arkansas, I was looking forward to trying out the menu. This is definitely Monique's Golden Chick because she made sure her store, as General Manager, was a Five Star Chick! Hope was our cashier and was a tremendous help and very courteous. The atmosphere was very organic, but since it wasn't during the busy lunch rush, it was very quiet, clean, well organized, and her crew were well mannered and attentive to the customer's needs. Monique made it her obligation to ensure that we had everything we desired and needed. The menu is plentiful with varieties of their specialty chicken. Our order was 60 plus because we'd decided to sample this menu and it was "golden." Everything was golden brown tasty, chicken strips were marinated, the dirty rice was flavorful with a slight kick...I could go on, but to say the least, Golden Chick needs a future locations in Arkansas! Monique, great job and your future is bright ma'am. You brought your restaurant experience to Golden Chick and you will live life like it's golden. We enjoyed you, your crew, and your store. “ Okay let me start by saying I was a little skeptical at first because Texas was always better. But the service was fast and the food was great. More spice is needed but I’m guessing you have to ask for extra. The cashier working that day name was Marley at least that’s the name that was on the card given out. She took my order gave me options of what she preferred, a great help. I also watched her check on others in the restaurant. She made sure everyone was helped and she also was checking on how long we had for our orders to come out. She was moving around everywhere, lobby, kitchen, and register. Her smile is beautiful and welcoming. I believe this happened on Tuesday during the rush. Either way great job to all the employees on that day. The food was great ”
